On April 28, 2023, the Japan Public Relations Association announced the results of the National Public Relations Competition, which honors excellent public relations papers and publicity photos of local governments. The Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award, which is specially selected in the video category, was selected from among the three brand movies of Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture. This is the first time the city has received a special award. The brand movie will be produced in 2022 as part of the "Uwajima City Branding Project" that the city is working on. The award-winning works introduce tourist attractions such as Uwajima Castle, bullfighting, and the Kiya Japanese hotel inn, as well as industrial work scenes such as Jakoten tenpura of minced fish making, fish and pearl farming, and citrus cultivation. The approximately 8-minute video consists of only images and BGM, without text information such as telops. In addition to dynamic images using drones, the eyes are frequently used to make you feel like you are on a trip. In the competition, it was evaluated as "Instead of having no text information, each scene has been carefully selected, beautifully lyrical and worth seeing.'' Developed by Komugi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taiki Town, Hiroo County, Hokkaido). Komu no Slave is a “regional entertainment bakery” born from the online salon HIU (Takafumi Horie Innovation University) presided over by Takafumi Horie. On May 9, 2023 (Tuesday), the Komugi no Slave Uwajima store will open in Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture. In May 2023, newly renovated stores will open in Ehime and Saitama prefectures, and in Gunma prefecture. Accelerate nationwide expansion and plan to reach 100 stores by opening in the same month. Ehime's pearl farming was carried out in 1907 in Hirajo Bay (Hirajo shell mound is located in the Hirajo district on the right bank of the Sozu River, which flows through the central part of Ainan Town and flows into Misou Bay. This shell mound is known nationwide for the "Mark pottery" called "Hirajo style pottery", and is the site of the middle leaf of the late Jomon period 3500 years ago. It seems that excavations are being conducted. Outside the earthenware, there are many human bones including the complete body, and many excavated materials such as stoneware, bone horns, animal bones, fish bones, and plant seeds. Rare items are woven pieces and shell flutes, which are rarely excavated in Japan. Also, it seems that remains that may be the remains of a dwelling have been found. Shell layer about 1 meter, north-south about 90 meters, east-west about It is 60 meters long and is an important site for considering the relationship between a large amount of relics and the Kyushu of Chugoku region). Has been successful. In 1935, Kikuo OTSUKI started producing pearls in Sakashizu, Uwajima City and Miura Bay, and it seems that the fame of pearls in the Uwa Sea gradually increased from the place where high quality pearls could be obtained. Since then, due to the technological innovation of fishermen engaged in pearl production and the tireless efforts to improve quality, the pearl production of the Uwa Sea in recent years has become the number one in Japan and is making a leap forward worldwide. In addition, the Uwa Sea, which rustles quietly in the deep cove of the ria coast, is in the most blessed natural environment as a pearl farm. Taking advantage of this blessing of nature, it seems that the mother mussels are raised, put in the nucleus and cured, and then taken offshore. I hear that the pearls of the Uwa Sea are produced by excellent technique, delicate work, and delicate heart. In addition, the sea, which is considered to be the mother of all things, seems to be the mother who gently nurtures pearls. And because it is a pearl polished by this beautiful and quiet Uwa Sea, its brilliance is exceptionally beautiful and fascinates the people of the world. On Thursday, March 17, 2022, the flowering of five specimen trees, Prunus yedoensis, was announced by Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture. It seems to be 5 days later than last year. The mayor declared flowering, but in 2005, after the Uwajima weather station, which is an organization of the Japan Meteorological Agency, was unmanned and cherry blossoms were no longer observed, the city was OB of the Japan Meteorological Agency based on the same definition as before from 2006. It seems that the city is continuing its own observations, such as by commissioning the observations to the people. Nanrakuen Garden in Tsushima Town, Uwajima City is on March 23, and Tomisuyama Park in Ozu City is on the 21st. “Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture,” Located in the southwestern part of the prefecture. Seiyo City in the north, Kihoku Town and Matsuno Town in the east, and Ainan Town in the south. Next to it, it borders Sukumo City and Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture. The west faces the Uwa Sea, followed by a typical ria coast where coves and peninsulas are intricately interlaced., 5つの有人島(嘉島, 九島, 竹ヶ島, 戸島, 日振島)と, 多くの無人島(御五神島, 沖の島, 黒島, 佐島, 高島, 契島, 遠戸島, 野島, 横島). The Onigajo mountain range on the east side has a steep slope approaching the sea and has a complex terrain with many undulations. Urban areas and settlements are scattered in the coastal plains and inland basins. Most of the rivers flow into the Uwa Sea. Above all, the Mima River joins the clear stream Shimanto River and flows to Kochi Prefecture. The east and west including the manned island is 38.15 km, the north and south is 34.94 km, and the area is 468.19 km2. Forests account for about 70% of the total. The climate is located between the Setouchi area and the Pacific coast area. The average annual temperature is 16 to 17 ° C, which is warm throughout the four seasons, and precipitation is high in the summer. It is said that it may exceed 2,500 mm per year in the year when the influence of the rainy season front and the passage of typhoons are frequent. The west side faces the Bungo Channel, and the east side is lined with 1,000 m-class monsoons, so the northwest monsoon blows in winter. Differences in temperature and precipitation can be seen between the coastal areas and mountainous areas, and the mountainous areas have various climates with snow and freezing. “Kihoku Town, Kitauwa District”, Located in the southwestern part of the prefecture. One town and one village in the former Hiromi Town and the former Hiyoshi Village: Merged in January 2005. The east borders Yusuhara Town and Shimanto Town in Kochi Prefecture. With a total area of 241.87 km2, it is famous as a typical mountainous area surrounded by 1,000-meter-class mountains. The largest tributary of the clear stream Shimanto River: Hiromi River(Famous for fishing Plecoglossus altivelis (Temminck et Schlegel, 1846) in summer, eels(Anguillidae)and crabs(Brachyura Linnaeus, 1758)in autumn. The river that flows out of the headwater takes in many streams, and the amount of water and the width of the river gradually increase. Join the Oyado River and Mima River on the way. It joins the shimanto river at Ekawasaki and flows from Tosa Bay (Shimanto City) into the Pacific Ocean.)Narukawakeikoku(It has its headwaters at Mt. Takatsuki and Umegasei Pass. It is located upstream of the Nara River and has a large amount of water, forming a wonderful canyon for about 3 km), which is designated as Ashizuri - Uwakai National Park(Born in 1955 as Ashizuri National Monument. It has been additionally designated as the Uwakai area and the Marine Park area. It became a national park in 1972. A major feature is the varied landscape consisting of the coastal area including islands in the southwestern part of shikoku and the mountains in the inland area at an altitude of 1,000 m. In the Ashizuri area, cliffs with developed marine terraces continue, and subtropical marine life and coral communities benefiting from the Kuroshio Current can be seen. The Uwakai area is attractive for its delicate coves and island landscapes on the subsidence coast. You can enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery centered on soft coral(Among the animals that grow by preying on plankton in the sea with polyps as a member of coral, it is a soft object unlike reef-building coral.). In the inland area, natural forests such as giant trees such as Sciadopity, cryptomeria japonica, and Japanese cypress are left behind. It seems that you can see the vertical distribution of vegetation from warm temperate to cool temperate. Nametoko valley upstream of the Shimanto River: A series of waterfalls represented by the smooth riverbed of granite and the Yukiwa Falls. The shore forests such as Quercus salicina and Machilus thunbergii are beautiful and attract tourists.). Blessed with tourism resources based on abundant nature. Marunan Fruit Co., Ltd., which has its head office in Takagushi Ichiban Agricultural Land, sells oranges and citrus fruits and sends them directly from the production area. It seems that they are engaged in wholesale of various citrus fruits, fruits, vegetables, juices, jellies, etc. From the market in Ehime, which is famous for citrus fruits, we deliver sweet and delicious oranges to consumers. Located in the citrus producing area of Ehime, we have been walking with citrus fruits for more than 30 years. In recent years, new varieties have emerged, and the number of oranges with a taste that is preferred by young people is increasing, and we believe that there is potential for this industry. Regardless of Men and women of all ages, I am doing my best every day with the desire to have as many delicious oranges as possible. The characteristic of Misho Gold is that the taste changes three times depending on the harvest time. From April to early June, the flesh is soft and the juice is plentiful. It has a fresh and juicy taste with high sugar content and acidity, and you can enjoy a strong taste. When eating, it has a slightly fresh and juicy taste, and from mid-June to mid-July, the sugar content, acidity, and fruit juice gradually decrease toward the summer, but the taste seems to change and feel delicious. It seems that the softness of the flesh and the juice are well-balanced. Midsummer From mid-July to August, the fruit is firm and has a light taste that is perfect for hot summers. With a refreshing sweetness aftertaste, you can enjoy a crispy texture. The juice is less than that harvested at the end of summer, the water is drained, and the texture is refreshing and mellow. We value the relationships with all concerned parties and business partners. There are no shortages, and by keeping the delivery date and quantity in detail, it seems that those who continue the relationship up to now are proud of their strengths. In addition, it seems that all employees are working together in the same direction, valuing the horizontal connections within the company. “Kawachi late-ripening citrus (e.g. pomelo)” : Discovered in 1920 at the home garden of Mr. Tokusaburo Nishimura in Kawachi Town, Houtaku District, Kumamoto Prefecture (currently Nishi Ward, Kumamoto City). In 1935, after passing through Mr. Kazuma Yasuri (Ryo, Ro) in the same town, the unknown parent generation was confirmed. It's popular as a Japanese-style citrus paradisi. Chance seedling ; Seedlings with unknown parent or single parent : As famous as,A variety that was discovered by chance because it has characteristics that surpass the seed parent of naturally dropped or discarded seeds. It's a short ovate with a bulge, and the tension and luster are wonderful. The color of the peel is yellow, similar to that of grapefruit. The peel's smooth and soft and can be peeled off by hand, which is useful. The flesh is pale yellow with a lot of juice, and it has some bitterness that you do not mind, but it's not as good as grapefruit. When the flower bud swells from April to May -You can enjoy it until after the summer lantern festival. In spring, the juicy and refreshing taste is soothing. In summer, the faint sweetness tends to increase little by little. “4-[1-hydroxy-2-(methylamino)ethyl]phenol: p-synephrine” : It's said that it expands the bronchi and is effective against colds in the throat, and it's expected to be activated by lipase, a lipolytic enzyme(It's said to promote the metabolism of fat and is said to have a function of suppressing appetite). In addition, the refreshing sweetness and sourness spread in your mouth, making it refreshing and skillful. It's vulnerable to cold, so it's most suitable for warm places such as Kumamoto and Ehime prefectures where there is no frost throughout the year. It is confusing and annoying to consumers, but I am sorry that it is difficult to unify the names because there is a clear big difference in taste due to the difference in cultivation that we are particular about. Marunan Fruit grows mandarin oranges with high sugar content and low citric acid balance in a healthy mandarin tree state with good fertilizer, and it seems to be highly evaluated in the market. This excellent produce is a large yellow citrus that can be harvested from early summer to summer. The appearance and size are similar to grapefruit, but it has less bitterness and is loved in Japan as a refreshingly sweet variety. Speaking of citrus fruits, the image of winter and the amount of production are not so large, so it is still not well known. Marunan Fruit reduces chemically synthesized pesticides and fertilizers by 50% or 30% or more from the standards set by the prefecture, publishes production information, and refers to agricultural products produced under an appropriate management system as "eco-ehime agricultural products." It is certified by the prefecture as a company, promoting the production of reliable agricultural products produced in the prefecture, and promoting environment-friendly agriculture. In addition to the standards for eco-friendly Ehime agricultural products, those that are engaged in GAP are certified as "Ehime GAP agricultural products". It seems that there are four certification categories for eco-ehime agricultural products, depending on the reduction rate of pesticides to be reduced and chemical fertilizers. The pesticides targeted for saving mean chemically synthesized pesticides excluding copper wettable powders and sexual pheromone agents that can be used in the JAS standard for organic agricultural products. Marunan Fruit Co., Ltd. offers the best products by having professional and connoisseurs every morning tasting everything in the market. You will be in a position to buy it yourself, and you will inspect the market until you are satisfied and search for good quality citrus fruits, fruits, and vegetables. It seems that they are trying to meet a wide range of needs, from a wide variety of products to top-selling products and rare products. In addition, it is a skilled group that communicates with peers and exchanges information such as current sales and market prices. Seedling Gold Citrus is said to be derived from buntan and has a sugar content of about 11%, but it has a pleasant taste like "Japanese grapefruit without bitterness" with moderate acidity. The best season to eat is from April to July. Due to the long harvest time, it is juicy with plenty of fruit juice at first, but later on, the acidity and juice are lost, and the taste is refreshing.
